2004 Treeline Rally

Treeline ClubRally - Monrovia, CA  July 10, 2004

Burnsie the Rally Wagon went to California once again this season to contest the Treeline Clubrally held just outside of Monrovia CA in the Angeles Mountains.  Treeline rally is round 3 in the Western States Rally Championship .  SubieGal Racing has a points lead in the PGT class in this championship, thus the team decided to make a run at keeping that lead for the remainder of the season, justifying the long haul to CA for a one day rally.

This rally was insanely twisty.  Burnsie never saw 3rd gear - it was very TIGHT & very technical!  Horsepower never came into play in this event, and having a turbo means nothing... this truly is a drivers rally.  The team did well for their first time out, placing 4th overall and winning PGT earning much needed Championship points.  All in all a great, challenging event which was well worth the journey south  - Jamie
