Rim of the World Rally

May 2/3, 2003

This was the wildest rally I've ever attended - as a competitor or as a spectator

- high wind, rain, fog, more rain, hail and even still more rain + desert sand = TOTAL CHAOS! :o}

 Kudos to the organizers for hanging in there and doing the best they could with the racket they had thrown at them - things were definitely not going according to plan - that's for sure! - After only 3 stages on day 2 of the rally, it had to be canceled due to the severity of the conditions - rally workers/emergency crews, etc were unable to get where they needed to be in order for the event to continue.  As always, Rim was a wild one and did not fail to keep everyone on their toes! :o} Thanks to everyone involved for yet another challenging and successful rally weekend!!!
